I think May 2 was one of the most requested wedding days of the year for L Photographie. So when a friend from Switch (my old stomping grounds) needed a photographer… I was happy to shoot when Liz was already booked.
Jill & Chris had a very simple, yet beautiful wedding in O’Fallon with a lunch reception at the Cottleville Wine Seller. A very cute little place to hang out – check it out if you’re around the area. And I must add… they have the funnest cake I’ve ever seen! I couldn’t stop laughing at it.
Jill, you made a very beautiful bride! Many congratulations to you and Chris! I wish you all the best.
And I hope you like your photo preview here…
For those of you who know me (well or otherwise) you know that I love wine. Specifically Pinot Noir but that’s neither here nor there. So when Molly and Dan commissioned me to photograph their wedding at Chaumette Winery in St. Genevieve needless to say I pounced on the opportunity! Amazingly enough this was my first trip to St. Gen, and I must say it was further away than I had imagined in my head but oh…what one will do for wine and beautiful vineyards.
It was a cloudy day, but the rains held off and the clouds offered up some even, filtered light for us to work with. It was a little too soggy to trounce through the vines, but Molly wore her pink golashes just incase! Congrats you two and enjoy the sample!
Kristie and I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful woman around town for her modeling test photos! This was a fun experiment and Sarah was a good sport. Modeling is new to her, but she was a natural. Of course we did start off the day by getting her in a swimsuit on her knees in muddy flood water on the riverfront as a warm up! Drew quite the crowd too! Kristie spends most of her time with high school seniors and toddlers and I spend most of mine with brides in white dresses so this was a great change of pace. However, the next time I photograph Sarah and the next time you see her here she will be in a white dress too!

Just wanted to share a few photos of my travels last week… spent some time with the family gambling (read: laying by the pool) in Las Vegas and a day trip over to the Grand Canyon.
Yes, I did some experimenting with these in Photoshop. I like to “spice up” landscape photography : )
this was out our hotel window…

What a perfect little newborn model Addison was! I can’t say enough good things about her… she is so sweet and tiny and cute and precious…
I could have photographed her all day long. Hope you enjoy the preview!

I got to spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon meeting some families from the Down Syndrome Association of St. Louis. We took some portraits for their 2010 calendar and other marketing materials. All the kids were very fun to hang with… and I felt a little bad taking them away from finding animals to taking photos with me. The zoo that day was literally… a zoo… with huge crowds and impossible parking, so thank you to all the families for hanging in there!
Hope you enjoy your little sneak peek here… there will be more to come by email!
St. Louis High School Senior Photography
Here is a sneak peek for Sarah, another Rep for me this year. We took a trip to the Arch and Landing area on, what I believe, was the WINDIEST day of the year! It was really like a small tornado. I have plenty of shots with her hair all in the air… but luckily we captured some with the wind in our favor : )
I got to spend a little time with my good friend Bonnie and her growing belly. She claimed to be nervous with me photographing her, but she (and her belly) is too beautiful for words, so I don’t know why!
I love this first photo with soon-to-be big brother. Makes my heart melt a little : )
Love you Bon – Hope you like your sneak peek…
I’m excited to share this session! My first Class of 2010 Senior Rep… I know she’s been anxiously waiting to see ; )
We had a good time hanging out Downtown in some unusual spots, then hit Forest Park just in time for the good sun flair light. She did an AWESOME job modeling for me! And I’d like to give a shout-out to Mandy for carrying around my camera bag the whole time. Thanks girl!
Hope you like the sneak peek…
(I love these next two!)
Usually I am not the one posting wedding photos, but I am glad I got to share this special day with Lisa & Matthew!
They had a lovely, small ceremony at Parkway United Church of Christ followed by a dinner reception at the Moolah Shrine Temple. The rain held off for us pretty much the whole day (thank you!).
Lisa & Matthew, Congratulations on your new life together! I hope you enjoy your sneak preview…
