Happy Monday everyone! It’s a little rainy and icky here in St. Louis, so I’m going to try to make up for it with this bright and sunny wedding blog! Claire and Nathan were married in July…do you remember what it felt like in St. Louis in early July? The heat wave/drought combo hadn’t broken yet and plants were starting to get a wee bit crusty. The very nice limo bus driver actually brought along chilled towels for the wedding party to use during our outdoor photos. But I have to tell you, everyone in the wedding party were absolute troopers. This is actually one of those times that complaining would have been 100% warranted. But spirits were high and everyone rolled with the punches (and the heat) and we were able to get some great stuff. And off we go!

Pretty shiny things always make for a good start.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a Mother of the Bride do her daughter’s makeup, so I think this speaks volumes for Claire and Mary’s relationship.  Mary did a wonderful job!

I can’t remember for the life of me what happened at the end of the aisle that was this funny.  I think they may have just been laughing at themselves for the crying perhaps?!  Either way…these are the moments I adore.
