There is seriously no way you can look through the photos of this wedding day and not wish you were a part of it! Nope. Literally not possible. If these don’t look like the nicest, most fun people ever then I need to meet your friends! I always tell our clients that no matter what I do as a photographer (i.e. pose you in a flattering way, scout out a beautiful setting with the perfect light, etc), if you don’t enjoy your wedding day it is going to show all over your face in the photos. And no matter how pretty a photo may be, if you’re not totally into your day and each other, it is not going to be a great photo or a wonderful memory. So embrace and enjoy! Truly enjoy every moment whether it’s 110 degrees, pouring down rain, your flowers are wilting, the cake is the wrong color…there are so many little things that happen throughout the course of the day. But if you roll with it and just say “screw it, it’s my wedding day and I’m going to love every moment”, well, your photos will look something like this! That being said, I think this day went down close to perfect. ;)
I mean, how about that ring? Wowza am I right?!
One of my largest wedding parties, but also one of the most fun!
Bridesmaid assembly line.
I like that in the first photo Kylie is standing back there naked, but it just looks like a puffball with feet.
BTW: The new rooms at the Renaissance Grand are great for getting ready! They are still working on them, so there are currently some old and some new. Be sure to ask for a new one!
First look with dad. Who wore the craziest most fun jacket ever! And even had matching shoes. I think Kylie gets some of her personality from this guy. ;)
So pretty Kylie!
Real smiles and tears.
And LOTS of selfies!
Of course we have to check in on Mer with Tyler getting all handsome and stuff.
And it’s ceremony time. The Statler ballroom looked amazing! The ladies at Kate and Co are so damn talented. And Tina Barerra, the flowers! So pretty! So sorry about your ankle. Glad you are on the mend!
These guys. Seriously.
Love the look Kylie is giving Tyler right here.
I mean, I’m tempted to look through this whole blog post and total up the smiles. I feel like there are easily over 100.
Family tradition: toasting with bottles of wine from the years Kylie and Tyler were both born. Good one right? I like traditions that involve drinking. Did I say that out loud?!
These socks. So fun. So 1982.
Groom photobomb. Nice Tyler. Real nice. You had better hope I actually got a normal one! JK! I did…but this one is funnier.
It didn’t rain, but it was supposed to. So they were prepared!
I feel like Kylie just won the Kentucky Derby. ;)
Love this.
And off to the reception! The Crystal Ballroom in the Renaissance Grand will forever be one of my favorite reception venues in St. Louis. However, I have never seen it set up this way! The long tables are really fun!
Best cake topper of all time. Mer and I were cracking up.
Her Jay. His Bey.
Reception shoes…Air Jordans. I mean, what else would one wear?!
These little ones entertained guests with a special song. So cute!
No traditional dancing for these two! Let’s just say it didn’t come as a shock. ;) Breakin’ it down…
Same goes for these two!
Par-tay!
You guys – thank you SO MUCH for having Meredith and I at your wedding day! It was truly our pleasure! With love, Liz + Meredith
