Happy Friday world! I actually have a rare Saturday off tomorrow, and it’s awesomely nice outside, so I’m feeling all warm and fuzzy and happy at the moment. And looking at these two lovebirds just makes me smile even more! I just put together the photos and then looked back through it and thought, damn, that looks like a fun day. And it was! Oh so fun. I remember that Katie and Paul’s engagement session was a breeze…they just work together. You know those couples that you think they are just perfect together? That’s these two. On every level. I’m keeping my intro short on this one…no one wants to read on a Friday afternoon. Bring on the pretty pictures!
Paul’s mom was a hoot. She wanted to keep her hands busy to keep from getting nervous so she knitted through the whole getting ready process.
My gal Emily Miller putting the finishing touches on an already smiling Katie.
Bring on the gown!
Love mom and daughter moments.
I showed Katie this photo on the day of the wedding and her reaction was something along the lines of”holy crap that’s a lot of train!”
Now that Katie’s all ready to go, let’s visit Paul and the guys.
They were a happy bunch.
I remember clearly that his is right after the ties have been tied and right before the pocket square folding decisions. SO high stress. Ha! ;)
Looking handsome Paul…time to go see Katie!
I often times tell my couples two things. 1) I tell the groom that he can’t turn around until his bride says so. 2) I tell the bride to mess with said groom for as long as she would like. Most of the time it doesn’t happen, excitement kicks in and she tells him to turn around immediately. But every now and then…
And then a quick first look with dad…makes me teary every time.
Off to the park for a few photos!
I love this bouquet by Becky at Poppies Design Studio SO MUCH. One of my faves of the year I think!
Katie and Paul’s first date spot: Pi Restaurant in the CWE!
Then we met up with the wedding party for a few final shots before heading back into The Chase for the Ketubah signing.
This chuppah. YES. So simple and so beautiful.
The ceremony all set up in the round at Zodiac Room at The Chase Park Plaza. Loved this one Simcha!
Becky and team outdid themselves on all of the florals. Just my humble opinion.
It’s fun when the Ketubah signing takes place on a glossy and reflective table. Double the love!
Let’s make it official…
Mazel tov!
I thought the table arrangements were so pretty that I copy-catted the general feel and color scheme for my in-laws 70th birthday party. Sincerest form of flattery right Becky?!
Peonies are one of my favorite flowers and these bright fuchsia ones are my VERY favorite. Such a happy flower!
Dance party!
Lovely toasts.
And a special appearance by Joe Biden. Paul’s hero. Or so I hear. ;)
One of my favorite parts of the Jewish wedding day…the Hora! Seriously always good for some awesome faces. ;)
In instead of cake…sorbet!
Arvell and Company kept the dance floor packed all night.
Congratulations to you both! You are both so amazing as individuals, I can’t wait to see the mark you make on the world as a team. I’ll have a glass of scotch ready for when you come by to pick up the photos. ;) Hug! With love, Liz
