The Mom of these cute, fun kiddos contacted me about doing a “close-up & serious” session at the studio – she wanted macro details to remember every freckle, eyelash, the color patterns in their eyes, crooked teeth, and every perfect-to-Mom piece of their face. I was ALL OVER IT. Love this idea with a million explanation points (!!!!)
And although our main goal was to capture these serious-detailed photos, they are indeed kids, so a bit of fun broke out! (which I also LOVE with a million explanation points! ;)
Mom’s next request was a “serious” face with the three kids together. And when the three of them are together, “not laughing” was a very tall order! Ha!
We had to wiggle and giggle to get all the the jitters out first.
(Honestly, nothing makes a kid laugh more than telling them NOT to laugh. Ha).
And finally, it was time to loosen up and have a little silly fun!
I wanted to capture each individually, yet still “interacting” with each other out of the frame. A little modern take on the “Brady Bunch” opening, if you will.
We ended up with a HILARIOUS mix of photos. Endless options on mixing and displaying these together.
And as we were wrapping up, their “jam” came on. O.M.G. The dance party that broke out is my favorite ever! “Outtakes” that are totally NOT outtakes.
Thanks so much for a SUPER FUN session you three!
If you want to come into the studio with your kiddos, this is a perfect time of year! Pandora dance stations are cued up and ready to roll ;)
