For many years, I have been confidently able to reassure clients that I’ve never had the same photo shoot rain out twice. I know how busy life is as a parent, so it’s a question I often get as an outdoor portrait photographer – What do we do if it rains? Well, as this little girl’s Mom now knows… we reschedule, and reschedule, and reschedule until we get it right! It took us SEVEN tries. I’m not kidding. I had to look back at my calendar to be sure. Yep, 7.

So, I will now forever tell people – I haven’t had the same shoot rain out twice… except for the one that took 7 tries.

I’m so glad we finally got a pretty sunshiny day for her! We sure deserved it. And I couldn’t resist bringing along a little umbrella prop, and while she had her rain boots, we laughed in the face of rain. Yeah sun!
