Maricela and Jan tied the knot in May… and everyone had a blast. Maricela has a big, bright, beautiful smile, and did not stop flashing it all day (as you will soon see) The reception was an amazing expression of love and welcoming between two families with very different cultural and geographical backgrounds… Jan’s family being Swedish and Maricela’s family Mexican. They adopted some traditions from each, and Jan’s daughters (who also made the cake!) gave their toast in both English and in Spanish! Enjoy!

this lariat is a family heirloom worn by several generations of women in Maricela’s family, and the necklace… an engagement gift from Jan.
