Meet baby John. A teeny bundle of 6lbs 6oz, born October 15 to some very excited parents. And although his Dad threatened to be in a bar across the street during delivery, I’m happy to know he stayed for the whole birth ; ) Here is baby John at 8 days old…

John’s cute little nursery has an “ugly doll” theme, and there are so many ugly dolls, it was screaming for an E.T. setup. Love it!

Then for a little light reading in his business suit.

Enough reading, time for snuggles with Mom.

So, a lot of times in this pose with just Mom and baby, I get a lot of teary-eyed Moms. You can imagine why… cuteness, hormones, and a new Mom holding the most amazing thing she’s ever seen.
I made the mistake of saying, “This is so cute I may cry,” as then Mieka lost it…
so we needed some tear wiping assistance from Dad, since I wouldn’t let her move the baby ; )
