Anne-Marie and César got married in Springtime in St. Louis and lucked into one of those rare non-rainy, non-sticky, breezy lovely days, and although we didn’t get to spend much time outside, the kids in the wedding party made the most of it (as you will see)! We began our day at the Hyatt at the Arch for photos for the pre-ceremony festivities… as always let’s kick it off with the shiny stuff!

the flower girl was adorable and took her job very seriously

Anne-Marie is a documentarian, so in true fashion, she had her camera with her… but here the girls are turning the tables!

this kind of smooth chignon makes me jealous of people with smooth straight hair.

and we’re off to the beautiful St. Francis Xavier College Church!

and just like that…they’re married! I love it that César appears to be doing dance moves back down the aisle.

and a new game was invented!

I love the orange and green against the grey of their tables

the cake picked up their New Orleans/St. Louis theme with little piped on fleur de lis all over it!

the mariachi music and the traditional cookies baked and brought to St. Louis by César’s family added a personal touch

a little fun with the cake…

everyone enjoyed the photobooth by Laughing Penguins and had fun writing messages in the guestbook for the bride and groom

wonderful speeches brought lots of laughter and tears (we’ll just stick with laughter for the blog!)

They had the band play some traditional New Orleans brass parade music and did a “second line” right there in the Palladium with everyone dancing and twirling parasols and waving napkins in the air – SO FUN!
