In case anyone has ever wondered, I choose all of the photos for the blog before I write anything. And then I look back through all of them together to make sure it tells the story just right before I dig in on typing and adding comments. I just did my look back through this whole set and thought “damn this was a pretty day.” Not surprising with my gal Shelli Alred at the helm of the design piece, but she had no control over how flawless Monica looked or how charismatic Josh was. And then there are the moments…Monica, her mom and her sister dancing as they helped her into her gown and Josh playing Monica a song on stage at the reception. All kinds of things to put a smile on your face! If you need a break from election stress THIS is the place! Starting with sparkly hangers and Kate Spade shoes. Let’s be honest, nothing that starts with Kate can be a bad idea. So take a look and enjoy!
Invitations with gold glitter and wood. Rustic glamour! Kind of what I’m going for in my new kitchen renovation actually. :)
THIS RING.
All of the pretty things!
Just a little lipstick and then…gown.
Lovely!
I normally go bright and cheery with my images, but I love this dark dramatic profile.
Gifts for everyone!
Perfection Monica! I love your eyes. They have a mix of gold and green in them.
Dad getting his first look at his daughter…
Josh and the guys just finishing up!
You guys were the perfect subjects. Not all of my groups are this well behaved. ;)
Well almost everyone was well behaved lol! PS – Josh your dad is one TALL dude!!! You kinda look like a teenager here!
And we are off to St. Francis Xavier! Here comes the bride…
Woo hoo! Married!
Fun little getaway car. You know, nothing special. Just a Bentley. ;)
Randy did an amazing job with the floral design. Love the little air plant in Monica’s bouquet and Josh’s boutonniere!
Kinda loving this random little spot I found in Soulard for our photos. So much easier to find interesting spots to use when we have smaller wedding parties!
And right across the street…this little city garden. Perfect for some back lit sunset portraits.
And off to Palladium for the reception! Palladium is a pretty modern/industrial venue. LOVE the eclectic mix of that with the farm tables they brought in!
Sarah’s Cake Shop made the beautiful cake, but Josh made the jam for the cake. Crazy awesome right?!
The dance floor was packed! Even Monica’s grandma who hadn’t danced in years decided she wanted to join in the action!
A little late night dessert bar with beautiful and tasty goodies by our friend Shayna at Bake & Sprinkle gave everyone a little sugar rush to keep the party going.
Congratulations you guys! So honored to have been a part of your amazing wedding day! With love, Liz
