Before escaping to the beach last week, I was SO HAPPY to capture these sweet, sweet sisters under the blooming cherry blossoms.
(side note: Yes, I got to take an actual vacation – with no work! My first since before having my now 4-year-old son. Sad to admit, but true).
Cherry blossoms are such a beautiful flowering tree, it’s a shame they only stick around for about two weeks. Their Mom contacted me back in February, I think it was, on the hunt for cherry blossoms around St. Louis. I had a favorite spot, very close to our studio, in mind. Luckily the rain and clouds cleared out for us literally the day I was leaving. What a joyful and sweet connection these two sisters have – again, so happy I could capture :)
