I had the pleasure of photographing the coolest company holiday party I have ever seen! Those of you who know me well, and heck let’s be honest, probably many of those who don’t, know that I LOVE Christmas! It’s just so pretty with the shiny lights, excuses to go shopping (one for you one for me), all of the fabulous food, the fun parties, the decorations, seeing family and friends and giving people things that make them happy! It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, and I can’t wait for it to come back every year. It really doesn’t bother me that retail stores start putting out holiday merchandise in July…its exciting! My mother says that my father created a Christmas monster. And it is most likely his fault. He still dresses up as santa every year on Christmas Eve if that tells you anything about my upbringing.

So you can imagine my excitement when I showed up to photograph Gateway EDI’s holiday party at the MAC downtown and found THIS!!! The talented girls at Envy Events and the amazing staff at Exclusive Events put together a childhood dreamland complete with Candy Cane Lane, Santa, face painting, balloon animals, lollipops, gingerbread men, SNOW, ornament craft tables, make your own sundaes, and so much more! And Erin and Bryan – you have to tell me where I can get my hands on a snow machine. I mean, I could have year round snow?! Could it be possible?! Think I could ski on it? Ha!
