We had seen L Photographie's work through a mutual friend on social media. I commented to my (now) husband that I loved how effortless and natural the photos looked. They had this kind of lighting that just drew me to them. So when we got engaged I knew right away I wanted L Photographie to do our wedding photos. They were the first vendor we booked after our church and reception venue because it was that important to me. Planning a wedding is a bit overwhelming and being able to just sit down with Liz and go over all the details you didn't know you needed to know was a perfect start to the whole process. Working with Liz and sitting down to really determine what was the best package and overall experience for us was simple and thorough. On the day of I cannot begin to stress how professional and on point both Liz and Meredith were. They captured every single photo that we wanted (plus about 600 more!) and I seriously didn't even know they were there capturing a lot of what they did, which to me was amazing. I've recommended them to everyone I know getting married because I constantly get "Wow your photos are gorgeous, who was your photographer?" and it is the easiest recommendation I can give. They truly make you feel like you are their only client and the quality of work amazes me that they are that thorough and perfect with as many events as they do. The whole experience from start to finish was above and beyond what we thought it would be and now we get to relive our wedding all the time looking at the beautiful photos that captured every part of it!

We LOVE our pictures that Kate took for our engagement pictures and wedding! We had a traditional Indian wedding with multiple days of events. If you are like me and you've been staring at wedding photos your entire life, you will want Liz to take yours. Liz made me look and feel like the most beautiful bride and gave us photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I had the unique pleasure of watching Liz work with my two older sisters on their weddings, and once it was my turn it was everything I wanted. She took our engagement pictures, really listening to the mood and aesthetic we had in mind, and directed us toward the most beautiful shots. She really put us at ease and in both our engagement and wedding photos she captured our relationship and our friends as we really are. I could go on and on about how lovely she is as a person, how she captures the best light and the most honest reactions, but she's also such a calming presence to have around on your wedding day. Kristie has created heirlooms for our family. She has captured moments, expressions, and seasons of life that seem to pass in the blink of an eye. I recently reviewed a session she did of our family around Christmas in our home & it took my breath away. She captured so much beauty in our every day that, as a busy mom in the thick of things, I literally had no memory of! I will forever treasure the small things only her artistic eye could spot - the Christmas pop-up book open next to our daughter’s shoes, the wonder on our kids’ faces gazing at the tree, shared giggles between siblings.  When it comes to newborn sessions, I can’t imagine a more laid back, calming presence to capture the magic of a new born baby. She is an absolute pro & was so patient - constantly reassuring me she’d get the shot.  If I’m honest, a photo session of my kids with Kristie is a gift I give myself. I know I won’t remember a lot about this busy time of our lives, and I’m eternally grateful to have these photos to remind me of these fleeting family moments.

Kate was our photographer for our Missouri Botanical Garden wedding. I am not someone who enjoys being photographed, so even choosing a photographer wasn't something I was looking forward to doing. However, when we first met Kate I knew I would be comfortable with her. She was so down to earth, took the time to know exactly what we wanted and even helped with our color scheme. Honestly I cannot say enough amazing things about her. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes capturing hundreds of priceless moments that I didn't know about until I saw the photos.
