I will forever remember Agnes and Denny as the first couple I ever video chatted with. I know, you are probably thinking “What?! How could she have made it to 2016 without ever video chatting with anyone?!” The answer is that I have avoided it like the plague. I, like many of my brides and grooms, really strongly dislike being on camera…both video and still. So when they tell me that I TOTALLY get it. But I’m WAY more uncomfortable with video and seeing myself in the little corner not only distracts me but also kind of scares me (do I really look like that?!) I’m much better just not knowing what I look like when I’m talking to people. Ignorance is bliss right?! They have been living in different cities for so long that video chatting is their norm…I’m so glad you guys have a new norm!!! It was a really special day…enjoy!
Has anyone else out there heard of Shoes of Prey? I had not, but now I totally need a pair. You can design your own shoes just like Agnes did!
A little something blue borrowed from a shelf in Agnes’ parents house.
All the pretty ladies!
Moment in time. Always my favorite shots.
Agnes making faces at her best friend Sam trying to keep her from crying.
This is Baby. Baby is a sweet, not so baby-ish English mastiff that wanted to be right in the middle of the action.
Beautiful Agnes.
Off to St. Clement of Rome to see what the guys are up to pre-ceremony!
Denny how tall are you?! I think when you sat down in that pew we were the same height.
I think Denny’s mom was giving him some sort of marriage advice here…
Such a unique church.
A few fun dramatic portraits with those awesome stained glass windows and off to the park!
We braved Busch Stadium on a Cardinals game day for a few fun shots!
And then we were off to Windows on Washington for the party!
Polish traditions celebrating their heritage were infused here and there throughout the day. This was a really special moment.
I can say with certainty that I ate too many of these homemade baked goods and everything was fabulous. Except my waistline. ;)
Dance party fun begins as the sun sets!
Thanks for allowing me to capture your fun wedding day! And pokemon with you on the bus for a few minutes ;) With love, Liz
