I (I should actually say WE since this was definitely a team effort!) am quite excited to share this one with you all! So many details: gorgeous florals, bridal style, linens, stationery, lighting, balloon send off and even some groomsmen wearing animal heads. Yeah, you heard me…animal heads. :) And it all came together perfectly thanks to Simcha Lourie and her team! This was my first time working at Westwood Country Club, and I am totally ready to go back. The ballroom is beautiful with textured walls and arches that give off a cave-like feel when lit. The ceiling is high pitched and made of warm wood. It’s a perfect clean slate for any taste or color pallet.
The weather did not make life easy for any of us on this one. If weather could have a mental disorder, then I believe I would say it was schizophrenic. Especially on this wedding day! The skies went from bright and sunny to black and rainy 3 separate times, but we still managed to sneak in plenty of awesome portraits along the way. Of course it doesn’t hurt when you have this group as subjects. Let’s dive in shall we?!
The invitations from M Haley Design – stunning. Love the glittery envelope liner. You know me, the more shiny stuff the better!
Carolina Herrera surrounded by crystal and Chanel on plush, tufted velvet. Quite fitting really.
The lovely ladies in their gorgeous robes! That’s the stunning bride there in the middle.
Alex opening her gift from Isaac.
And Isaac opening his gift from Alex. Custom cufflinks representing both of their home states!
Cutest note ever.
Gown time.
Gorgeous Alex!
Few finishing touches with the guys.
Time for first look. They both look so happy. I can see Alex’s smile even though she’s out of focus back there. :)
Jolly! Check out those dapper cuffs.
Hee hee! One of my personal favorites.
Some of the lovely ladies.
Gorgeous wedding party.
The men goofing around.
Just some beautiful ladies hanging out on a bench together in front of a giant window. Perfectly normal. :)
Ceremony time! Surrounded by the gorgeous floral designs of Randy at Artistry Florist.
See what I mean about the space?
Emotional Ketubah. I promised Alex I wouldn’t blog the REALLY major cry face ones. :)
Under the chuppah.
Seriously Alex, your mom could be your older sister. I am jealous of this gene pool.
That is one seriously determined stomp.
Married!
Since the sun peeked back out, we stole the new Mr and Mrs for a few photos out on the grounds. Gorgeous.
Did I mention how stunning the reception looked yet? No? Well see for yourself!
Lovely toasts.
And off they go!
Groomsmen in animal heads. This happened.
And then they danced.
Mmmmm…Hank’s cheesecake and late night breakfast burrito snack.
Sweet favors for guests to grab on the way out.
Beautiful balloon exit…
Congratulations you two! Thank you so much for trusting us with your absolutely perfect wedding day!
