I’m embarrassed to say I haven’t blogged in…months?! It used to be part of my regular workflow to share every wedding as I edited it, and then the pandemic hit, and my “regular workflow” was tossed out the window. Weddings were scheduled, rescheduled, rescheduled again and then put off for entire years. Personally, I lost about 90% of my income in 2020, and it was still down about 70% in 2021. Not to. mention, the COVID 15 is real, and as the overachiever I am, I made it up to 22 lbs over my pre-pandemic weight! I always was a straight A student. ;)
Yes, life was turned upside down and so many people suffered, but a few good things came about as well. For me, I realized I was working much too hard for way too many hours. In many cases I was giving up the best of myself and sometimes all of myself for my job and my clients. I love you guys, but that is not what we call work-life balance! So, although I am finally back here writing a post and sharing the insanely blog-worthy weddings of my clients, I may not do it as often. Or I may use less words, because let’s be honest, you’re here for the photos!
Alex and Jono had a drop dead gorgeous wedding day at Westwood Country Club. If you’ve ever read anything on here, then you know moments and emotions are totally my jam, and this one is chocked full. Enjoy! Liz
