I am totally limited on time today so I am NOT going to ramble. I also think that this group of photos will very much speak for themselves. I always tell people that if they enjoy their wedding day and have fun with each other, no matter what, they will have great wedding photos. Smiles are beautiful. They are contagious and looking at these images makes me want to smile right back. Amanda, your smile is 100% contagious. I cannot begin to tell you how shocked both Meredith and I were when we found out that you are both lawyers. This is not a knock on the profession whatsoever! I have some great friends who are attorneys, but you generally know what they do as soon as you meet them. It tends to come with a certain demeanor and outlook on life. (Generally type A to be exact!) You two though, just so happy, laid back and easy going all day long. So many smiles. And I mean real ones. Ready to smile back at the screen? Here goes!
Let’s start with a few pretty little things.
Garret and the guys just hanging out, putting on ties. In unison. :)
Garrett is quite used to wearing cufflinks – I should have had a stopwatch timing how quickly he did this. It DID NOT make capturing it easy! Most guys give me plenty of time to get this shot. Garrett did not. ;)
Amanda getting into her gown surrounded by her mom and sisters.
Dad’s reaction to the beautiful bride.
See? I’m smiling at the screen again.
Off to get married at Graham Chapel!
Few portraits around the Washington University campus. Love the architecture.
Pretty bouquets by my friend Lisa at Belli Fiori!
One of my favorites.
These fun viney huts are gone now. They were so cool and will be missed. I only used them a coupe of times for photos – you guys were the last!
The beautiful wedding party.
The willow tree kept trying to eat them. It wasn’t cooperating. Which made us all laugh.
Time to party! Off to the Visitor’s Center in Forest Park.
Giant tennis ball groom’s cake was fun! Meredith had to take this shot because I wasn’t tall enough. (Poor me…wee little violins playing.) I think I’m going to start toting around a step stool.
How cute is this specialty drink?! Amanda KATZ and Garret FISCHER…thus the “KAT-FISCH.” Ha!
Pretty Trolley Room decor!
Smiles everywhere. All night.
Not sure what happened here but I love it.
Congratulations Amanda and Garrett! It was a perfect day. Meredith and I were so honored to be a part of it. Love you two! With love, liz
