Here’s a little sunny, happy love for you all as you prepare to leave work for a long and fun 4th of July weekend! Amrita and John were married in May at the Japanese Garden at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Love these two together. Amrita is quick to laugh and smile and being around John makes her do both basically non-stop. I recently saw a show called Brain Games on National Geographic (highly recommend by the way!) about how to tell a real smile from a fake one. Apparently a real smile that is connected to actual emotion through the brain is attached to muscles around the eyes. Fake smiles don’t connect to the same muscles. I’ll let you be the judge of whether this day is filled with the real thing!
Love her unique gown with purple embroidery!
Amrita’s skin is flawless. Never hurts to have Miss Emily Miller at the helm of your makeup though!
See?
Hiya John! BIG thanks for Michelle Ross at Under Grace Photography for shooting this beautiful couple with me! She is such a stellar photographer and took all of these photos of the guys.
John patiently waiting to see Amrita…
Love.
And the beautiful wedding party!
This just happened on it’s own. I didn’t do anything except click.
How cute are these little ones? That giant chevron tie and matching suspenders both make me smile.
Fun with shadows. They almost look like more chevrons!
Pretty colors!
Let’s get this show on the road! Love that the guys wore flip flops. Totally fit the garden wedding feel.
I’m in the aisle, but Michelle was able to capture this fabulous moment with Amrita and her father just before they walked down the aisle.
Now onto a couple of my favorite photos of the day! I heart sunset.
Pretty garden reception set up in Monsanto Hall.
Mmmm…kind of craving some chocolate right now.
The new Mr and Mrs!
The laughter continues through the toasts!
As part of a special tradition, John’s family sang to Amrita. Love special family traditions!
Another one of my favorites…
Gorgeous day you two! Thank you for having Michelle and I! With love, Liz
