These two are proof that if you roll with rain on your wedding day you will absolutely have amazing, emotional, fun, loving beautiful photos to remember every minute! I have told my couples this for years…some take it to heart and others have a tough time embracing the reality. Not that I blame them, rain can be a tough pill to swallow on a wedding day. It’s the same when people remind you only to worry about things that are within your control (WAY easier said than done! Especially when you are type A. Like me.)
Wedding photos, if executed correctly and with care, should capture all of the emotions of the day. If those emotions are sadness, anxiety, annoyance, worry and frustration with rain, well, then that is what your photos will convey. However, if you splash in the puddles, play in the rain, cuddle under an umbrella and hug and kiss your loved ones with reckless abandon, that exact same wedding day, in the exact same circumstances, will tell a very different story. Thank you to Anne, Kevin and their amazing wedding party for embracing all that nature gave us and for enjoying every minute!
Thank you to the amazing ladies at Bloomin’ Buckets for the styling flowers and to the Paper Patch for the pretty, classic wedding suite.
I mean this hat. I love this guy. Total character!
I don’t think all babies are cute, but this one is adorable and happy and squishy!
Poor little guy was NOT having it lol!
Anne’s dad stepped on her veil right after he walked her down the aisle and gave her a hug. This is her parents laughing and crying all at once. Sometimes when things don’t go perfectly it makes for the best moments!
Rain schmain!
St. Luke’s is Anne’s family church. Lot’s of history there.
Well, we got some of them in it! Escape artist over there on the right lol.
Beautiful people in a lovely, wet, lush sunken garden.
Off to party at Norwood Hills CC!
LOVE.
Anne’s mamma and her friends know how to party! Girlfriends are the best.
