I’m back! I’ve been on a little hiatus, but I know Kate has been keeping the blog busy with her gorgeous end of the year weddings in my absence. Not to mention all of the adorable families from Kristie’s crazy fall holiday season and the last of Mer’s beautiful seniors from the the class of 2016. Love working with my girls. They are all so talented that I feel like I have to keep up! We all drive each other to keep learning and evolving and I think it’s mostly healthy. Mainly because none of us have overly competitive personalities. ;)
Now onto the real reason we are here…the beautiful, classic winter wedding of Becky and Chris at The Chase Park Plaza! Proof that you don’t need to travel all over town to have gorgeous images from your wedding day. I’ve had a few non-traditional couples in the last year that have gotten ready basically “together.” While Becky got dressed in the open suite, Chris donned his tux in the suite’s bedroom and we did the first look right there! Simple logistics. I’ll take it! Becky is one of the most animated brides I have ever had, and when I ran into her at an art show last week I told her that I have PLENTY of her over the top faces in her photo collection. However I also promised her that there were plenty of what I thought she would call “normal” faces as well. Although normal for her is pretty darn fun. :)
Let’s start with a wintery ring shot of a gorgeous set of rings!
Very va va voom! Perfect dress for your curves Becky!
So very lovely.
And about 8 steps away Chris got some help from Becky’s dad…
Chris isn’t a “smiler” for photos but don’t mistake that as serious. It’s more of a smirk.
First look…
Love this one.
Lucky for us, we had the gorgeous architecture of the Chase to work with with for a few photos! Which also allowed us to be outside for a very short period of time without freezing to death.
Pretty inside and out…just like these two!
Ketubah signing moments before the ceremony.
I think I figured out where Becky gets her animation. ;)
Ceremony in the Empire Room at the Chase Park Plaza.
Everyone looking so darn happy. I’m smiling back at my screen again like a crazy person.
Mazel tov!
Beautiful floral work from Barb at Bloomin’ Buckets…as always!
Bring on the smiles. :)
Hee! Sorry Chris. Had to. Congratulations to you both! I wish you a lifetime of love! With love, Liz
