I hope you’re ready for all the girly-floral goodness of Naomi’s bat mitzvah! I LOVED all the details of this day – some of my favorite colors, and so many beautiful textures and flowers. Suzanne and Naomi’s vision is definitely my kind of day! And of course working with Alix-Ann of Simcha’s Events doesn’t hurt to help bring it all to life. Let’s dive in to our service at Central Reform Congregation.
Lovely stationery in pinks and corals with just a hint of purple! I loved the mix of pink and purple throughout the flowers.
Sweet helpers to pass out the programs!
A few moments to practice before the service – I’m always impressed by the calm shown in front of such a large group. I know I’d be super nervous!
Had to sneak out for a quick portrait by the CRC “henge”!
Here we go!
No doubt this was a celebration – dancing through the aisles!
Excuse me while I wipe a tear…the parents always get me.
Wonderful job Naomi – you made it through! Time for lunch
Purple and pineapples for the kiddush setup!
And mini doughnuts! Seriously how cute are these?! They started prepping these during the service, and I think the amazing smell wafting in was driving everyone a little crazy :)
Our evening reception was at Westwood Country Club – transformed into a bohemian lounge full of macrame and gorgeous shades of blush! This placecard table was a showstopper to welcome guests.
Heading inside to the lounge area…
And here comes our girl! Time to see the results…
…I think they like it!
A few quick family photos before the party officially kicked off!
Teens were welcomed with flower leis. Too cute!
So this game involved two lines and you had to run and sit on your partner’s knee (and not be the last one) – fun but there were a few almost misses!
Sweet speeches from Naomi’s friends.
I love a family dance party with the formal introductions!
Slideshow viewing time…
…and a seriously giant group photo! Might be the largest group I’ve had, could barely fit them in.
One of my favorite parts of a mitzvah, the father-daughter dance.
Hora time!
A Nutella dessert bar for some late night sweets – kind of jealous I wasn’t a guest for this part ;)
Streamers to end the night!
Somebody got a little wrapped up ;)
Your day was absolutely beautiful and I’m so glad to have been a part Naomi – mazel tov!
