What an amazing Saturday here in St. Louis! Reminds me of another beautiful day…Carly and Frank’s wedding! We have had the most amazing weather this fall. I realize the lack-o-rain meant that the fall colors weren’t as vibrant, however, compared to last October (in which I’m pretty sure we complained about the color not being vibrant because everything was molding and turning brown due to TOO MUCH rain) I will take it. Plus, many more bright and sunny wedding days this Sep & Oct! Such a beautiful wedding and great to be back at Steve and my wedding reception location (ah…memories. sigh.), the Renaissance Grand Crystal Ballroom for both their ceremony and reception. I have only shot a few Jewish weddings but I love them. I love the drinking of the wine, the stomping of the glass, the chuppah, the dancing and spinning in circles, and most of all the bride and groom trusting a bunch of hopefully not too drunk friends and family to hoist them up on chairs like they are crowd surfing rock stars. It is joyous! As it should be. And Carly and Frank never stopped smiling from the moment they saw each other. Enjoy the photos!
