Carolyn + Louis wedding {by liz + kelly}

Carolyn and Louis hold a few records me. One, latest wedding to book ever. I’m so grateful I was still available for this one! Two, tallest groom ever. Louis is six-foot-seven. I am five-foot-two in case you wanted to envision our height difference. He had to both bend at the waist and the knees to give me a hug. Three, and this one is my favorite, happiest to get married. It was all about the marriage and not as much about the wedding for these two. When a crazy scary storm blew in forcing us to move the wedding inside, Carolyn said she didn’t care if she had to stand in the rain or by a fireplace because she was marrying her man today. In my head I started a new version of the Dr. Suess book Green Eggs and Ham, but started filling it with all of the places and situations in which Carolyn would marry Louis. Thinking about it again makes me smile.

I’m going to keep my talking points light this time. Carolyn and Louis are pretty private people and I feel blessed to be sharing some of their heartfelt wedding images here.
