CHRISTINE + LARRY {by kate}

Strap in folks, this is kind of a long blog… 1) because I adore the couple and 2) This is an Easter surprise blog and I just couldn’t cut any more images out! You may remember Christine and Larry from the fun Mizzou engagement session a while back…adorable and full of tiger spirit! They had a night wedding ceremony at the beautiful St. Francis Xavier Church in downtown St. Louis and reception at the Hilton at the Ballpark. The weather for the day did not look good, to say the least… so with lots of rain back up plans in place and a healthy ‘rain or shine we still get to get married’ attitude we just carried on like any other wedding day when it’s pouring rain! With lots and lots of umbrellas! Let’s begin with the little things…

Little did anyone know during the ceremony because Christine hid it so well, she was beginning to feel ill…. after the ceremony when the dress was being bustled I could tell she was feeling faint and the heavy thick gown was not helping matters…. more on this later…

time for the festivities! Christine is still hanging in there, but secretly a few of her bridesmaids are up to something…

After the first dance Christine’s bridesmaids mom’s who were in attendance had made an emergency trip to Nordstrom to buy her a lighter, looser dress to wear for the reception… the store was closed but the employees reopened it just for the dress purchase. yay for kindness!! The new dress seemed to help and it was also beautiful!
