I had the pleasure of photographing the other half of the Gateway EDI holiday event (the facepaint, snow, and candy cane free portion it seems!)  The afternoon part of the event was entirely focused on the employees having fun and being recognized for their hard work.  Exclusive Events set up a beautiful stage and lighting, and the girls at Envy Events went all out to make this an afternoon to remember.  It began with a video of different Gateway EDI employees passing an olympic torch all over St. Louis (filmed expertly by Switzer Film) which led into the CEO running into the MAC with the torch lit and making his way to the stage to light the “Olympic flame”….He then peeled off the purple track suit to reveal a tuxedo underneath.  The whole room went crazy, banging their thunder sticks together to the sounds of AC/DC!  There was some truly funny video of the “employee olympics” that had transpired and well as a dance off.  As a surprise treat, two acrobatic contortionists (provided by Belle of the Ball) performed, and then the awards ceremony commenced (Employee of the year pictured below).  The take home message here is that this company knows how to party!
