Elyse + Adam wedding {by liz}

How often does one get to photograph the wedding of high school sweethearts?! I was thinking about the answer to that question and based on my 13 years and 300 plus weddings, I would go with something in the 2-3% range. Making these two something close to a statistical anomaly! And they are just perfect together. Adam ADORES Elyse. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her all day long. And Elyse lights up when Adam is around. They are totally two peas in a pod. Surprisingly the St. Louis weather cooperated Easter weekend and they had a perfect day for a wedding on the terrace at the Bissinger’s Carmel Room. A sunny day to compliment a bright and cheery yellow and gray color scheme! The girls got ready at Elyse’s parents house and I rounded up a knife and a lemon for a fun ring shot. That’s a first!

And your laugh is contagious.

So dad wasn’t supposed to pop out but he did and sent everyone into tears. I mean every female in the room was all weepy. It was sweet and hilarious all at once.

First look at their old high school…I couldn’t imagine a more fitting place.
