Well this is an extra special one. After all, it’s not every day that the baby sister of one of your favorite people gets married to the love of her life. You may notice that the title of this wedding blog only has a {by liz} and not a {by liz + mer}. Well that’s because Mer had a little something else more important to do on this special day. ;) So let’s summarize some stuff here…the final Weinhold sister gets married, her parents celebrate a big anniversary, I get to work with two awesome families all day long, the wedding party is stellar, Nick even gives me a couple little teary groom moments (one of my favorite things), multiple champagne bottles get sabered and no one ends up bloody (big win) and that evening I get to give one of my favorite DJ’s a great big hug while everyone jams to his tunes. Tell me that’s not a killer wedding day!
Meredith did a beautiful job designing this invitation suite.
LOVE these shoes!
Perfection!
All of the lovely ladies.
The back of this dress was to die for.
Awww…papa.
So lovely Emily.
Sometimes my favorite photos are not necessarily my clients favorite photos. But this one below on the right is one of my favorite of the whole day. It just feels like such a specific moment in time.
Off to get a few shots of Nick on the guys!
Success!
Gorgeous bouquet by Bloomin’ Buckets.
Off to historic Soulard for a few photos before the ceremony!
I’m kinda in love with this little house.
Time for the ceremony at Trinity Lutheran.
This was one of those awesome teary groom moments. :)
Congrats to Mr and Mrs. Pestka!
It was cloudy and got dark really early, but we took full advantage of every last minute of light!
Sisters. I grew up with two brothers, so this special relationship is tough for me to imagine and I think it’s amazing.
Successful saber #2!
As the lights come on in the distance marking the end of daylight, we take a few final shots and head over to the final piece of the day…the celebration in the Trolley Room at the Visitors Center in Forest Park!
Beautiful and tasty cake from The Cakery!
Let’s dance!
I am truly beyond honored to have been a part of your day! Wishing you two many wonderful years together! With love, Liz
