Another fun non-wedding project for Liz and Kate! First – the back story. Kristie and I (Liz) shot Cha Boutique owner Sarah and Pat’s wedding last year on July 11th (Get it? Seven Eleven?!) and we became fast friends. Fast forward a few months and Sarah follows her dream and opens her own boutique! Cha Boutique (coined from her hubby Pat’s nickname) in Ladue has been crazy successful and Sarah’s vision is generally always a few steps ahead of the next hot thing. Sarah had the idea to do a shoot highlighting a few fall looks brought together by amazing shoes from KM2. Katelyn, one of the masterminded sisters behind the KM2 brand of completely customized shoes (often adorned with special vintage pieces) joined forces with us to create these fall looks.

I would be remiss if I didn’t give a giant shout out to the owner of the downtown, hip city restaurant Lola for allowing us to use the Euro-chic patio for the shoot. I have eaten there twice now and the food is divine. The first time was a dinner out with girlfriends and we shared the giant spinach and feta stuffed portobello mushroom and a variety of savory crepes including my fave with beef tenderloin, goat cheese and a balsamic reduction…mmm…hungry. If you’re there for lunch be sure to try the Edith sandwich. Just trust me.
