Fall Flashbacks are rolling out all over the place this week! Hillary and Nick got married at the Old Cathedral Basilica, which is one of my favorite churches in the city because of the natural light that pours in the windows… I have heard rumors that they are in the process of ripping out their signature pink carpet and replacing it though, so this may now be considered Old School Old Cathedral!
I LOVE the ornate clasp on this pearl bracelet. that is all.
another remnant of days past… their save the date was photographed in front of Rothschilds in the central west end, which is now Gringo (the new taco joint)… I miss that store.
A three piece suit will be forever handsome and classy… one of my favorite groom looks!
Hillary’s dress could not have been more “her”… it fit her like a glove.
there was a happy dance that followed this moment, just so you know. I like to keep the reader abreast of the joy.
emotional parent #1 (love it)
emotional parent #2 (yep, dad’s a softie)
mr & mrs!
I adore the mixed grey textures and shades
gorgeous bouquets by Bloomin’ Buckets (we liked them so much they are on our spring splash page for the website)
I thought it was neat that because of the reflection I can see both of their faces!
and an L Photographie first… I have never had a bride and groom ride the ferris wheel atop the City Museum before…it is closed a lot… but we lucked out, and despite Nick telling me he is not much of a “risk taker”, they went for it!!
simple and lovely tables
love love love happy dance moments
thanks for letting me tag along for all the fun! with love, kate
