I was finishing editing this gorgeous October day as snow flake were falling my peripheral vision. I warned Isabella and Dylan that I was going to be a little late wrapping up their photos because they are too damn cute! Heart on their sleeve types get me every time. As a photographer journaling a wedding day, I get excited when the minutes and then the hours are filled with emotional moments. It keeps me going when my back is aching and my feet are throbbing after standing on them for 12 hours straight. Trust me, this one is worth taking the time to look at every single photo in this rather (very) long blog post. Enjoy!
THE Manolos. Love.
I totally wish Isabella and I were the same age and had gone to Mizzou at the same time. I am SURE we would have been friends lol!
Isabella’s mom had a surgery not too long ago that hasn’t healed up exactly as it should. It was tough for her to get around all day but she was a TROOPER! Wait until you see her in the middle of the Hora!
I love these quiet, meaningful moments. Behind the curtain. Before the madness.
I have never seen anything like the train on Isabella’s dress and I am in love. Super unique.
Cheers to a fun day ahead!
First look outside of the Ritz…it was WINDY and the water from the fountain kept spraying us! To me that extra layer of texture makes it all the more memorable.
Tears.
And lots of laughs.
Off to the park for portrait time! When you’re wedding is actually IN Forest Park it makes the answer to “where shall we go?” super simple.
Our final destination for the day…the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park. A picturesque spot for a wedding day!
But first, Ketubah.
The appetizers were to die for. These little brie bites with cranberries created perfect little culinary explosion.
Sprinkle confetti cake!!!
And as the sun sets on St. Louis, Isabella smears icing on her new husband. And so a new life begins lol!
Congratulations to you both! It was an absolutely PERFECT day! I swear that never happens. :) With love, Liz
