I have so been looking forward to sharing this one! I love that we were able to take advantage of this tiny little stream of sunlight that came out right before sunset. We have had so much snow and rain and gloominess that just seeing that warm, soft glow on my screen cheered me up a bit. Meredith and I literally had Jackie and Jared run to this little sliver of light before it disappeared! And it was totally worth it.

Their ceremony and reception both took place at the beautiful historic Magnolia hotel. We took our first set of photos out side of the building and I love that the entrance of the hotel has such a fun city vibe. It was COLD and WINDY! This was an amazing wedding party. They put up with all of the freezing wind with zero complaints.

And for the reception Jackie changed into a traditional red Chinese wedding dress bringing the party vibe up a notch. We had so much fun with you two!

LOVE this invitation suite. One of my favorites this year. The mix of the pink watercolor envelope liner with the red floral backing is stationary perfection.

The princess saves herself in this one. YES.

The embroidery on Jackie’s gown was stunning.



The rooms at the Magnolia do not get a ton of natural light. Which can be tough, but also allows us to get a little dramatic.

The furs are so lovely! That texture mixed into these group photos is perfect!


OMG so windy! You can see the bridesmaid dresses blowing and a few pieces of hair here and there. It doens’t look nearly as windy as it felt!






Off to one more quick spot before we take a break to warm up inside.





After a short travel break with the heat cranked, the sun came out and we spent a few perfect sunset minutes in Lafayette Park.











Time to get married!


I believe Jackie put together this cool floral wall backdrop? You know, in between her and Jared’s surgical schedules. No biggie. ;)
