Busy blog day over here. So much fun stuff to share! Normally our blogs are a preview for our clients, but since I’ve been working like a crazy person to get as many people as possible their photos before Thanksgiving, Jennifer and Chris just left with their photos 5 minutes ago. So a little out of order but no less meaningful!
Jen and Chris were kind enough to trust Meredith and I with a first…our first traditional Vietnamese wedding ceremony! Three takeaways: It was incredibly touching, I think I could pull off the attire and amazing food. After that we switched gears and headed over to The Journey on Hanley for ceremony number two! Chris and the guys had the easy end of this gig. They stayed in their tuxedos while the girls changed into their second round of beautiful dresses. After a gorgeous ceremony and bubbly exit, we took more family photos in a short amount of time than I have ever accomplished in my life and it was off to Starbucks to celebrate with the couple’s favorite drinks! After a little bit of photo playtime in the park, we were off to the Sheraton Chalet in Westport which was recently renovated and looks fantastic! Total dancing crown and DJ JWin seriously rocked it. Hope you guys enjoy your non-preview blog!
Pretty blues. Gorgeous ring.
I love the long tunics with slits and long loose pants. I wonder if I could get away with wearing something like this everyday…
Meanwhile across town ties and shoes were being tied.
Jen dressed in traditional Vietnamese attire for the ceremony at her parents house.
So lovely you two!
Mer and the guys were waiting outside down the street for their cue to to bring the gifts.
The official “presentation of the gifts” hand-off.
Momma going upstairs to present the beautiful bride.
And the ceremony begins.
Presentation of jewelry to the bride by the parents of the groom.
Sharing tea.
Tears all around.
And we are off to ceremony #2 at The Journey on Hanley!
And the girls helping Jen into a beautiful beaded gown by Maggie Sottero.
A few touchups…
The guys just chilling…ready to get this show on the road!
The light in this staircase was amazing. I’m so glad I had Mer with me to capture this while I was in the aisle.
Perfection!
Married!
Lots of bubbles! Must not have been windy. I never feel like I have this many bubbles!
And off to Starbucks to celebrate Chris’ Seattle heritage. ;)
Followed by some pretty photos in Forest Park.
Don’t ask. I really don’t have an answer.
But I LOVE this giant fallen tree.
And the texture of all of these new growth on the ground. Gorgeous! Thanks for braving it for me!
One last quick little fun stop…
Off to Westport…time to party!
Love hugs. They are my fave. I regularly accost people to get more of them. This is a good one.
Dance floor open! I love that Jen’s arms are like straight up in the air to dance with her man.
These cuties.
A couple of goofballs borrowed props from the photo booth.
Conga line!
Chris’ brother tore up the dance floor.
Congratulations you guys! It was such a unique day and we were honored to be party of it! With love, Liz + Meredith
