Jenny + Kevin {by liz}

Jenny and Kevin’s wedding was personal and downright adorable. I’m sure Kevin won’t appreciate the word “adorable” as a descriptor but it just was! They really put effort into bringing pieces of themselves into the event and making it a great experience for their guests. As smarty-pants Wash U grads, they held their ceremony at Graham Chapel followed by a unique reception at the Old Post Office downtown with a book theme. Such a cool historic venue! Enjoy the pics!

Pretty gown! When there’s not a big ol’ handy window sometimes I have to get a little creative, but I love a good challenge.

I have had more flats this year than in years past, but they are no less beautiful than the giant stilettos!

How many helpers does it take to get a bride into her gown? :)

Finishing touches.

Pretty Jenny! So naturally happy…

Off to Graham Chapel on the beautiful Wash U campus!

Kevin looking all dapper…

Final few minutes hanging out as a single guy.

Anticipating the bride…

Here she comes!

Awesome hug.

So dang smiley! You’d think it was her wedding day or something…

Graham Chapel.

They write and read their own vows. I love it when couples do that. It’s just so personal. There are usually lots of tears to go along with it.

A few of those tears I was mentioning. :)

Married! Happy tears…

And off to their favorite courtyard for a few relaxed portraits.

And then off to Brookings for a little more formal look.

I love this squeeze from behind.

Pretty purple bouquets by Wildflowers. I love Wildflowers. They never disappoint!

Darth Vader + Storm Troopers + Cufflinks = awesomeness.

Fun with tilt shift!

Final shots outside of the reception venue.

Can you guess where we are?!

The Old Post Office in downtown St. Louis! Such a lovely and interesting venue for an event!

The head table.

The reception featured a very cool book theme! The tables were each named after well known books.

Cake by Sarah’s Cake Shop!

They may be baseball fans. Just sayin. :)

Post cards for guests to write well wishes on.

The “place cards” – awesome idea.

Guests found their place cards in an actual card catalog!

Kevin and Jenny brewed their own “I Do IPA” for guests to take home as favors. The tag line? “Love and Hoppiness.” Best ever.

Fun toasts!

I leave you with a couple of images of the historic Old Post Office at night. Congrats to Jenny and Kevin!
