SNOW!!! I am a lover of snow (like I choose snowy mountains over a beach….barely but still) and I swear I never have weddings when there is snow on the ground in this town. But I finally got lucky and not only was there snow, but I also had an awesome couple and wedding party that was willing to trounce around in it. It’s like a unicorn eating a perfect avocado. Two magical things coming together! AND I should add that it was a beautiful sunny day. AND these two are adorable together. Ahhh…I love it when everything comes together and cooperates with the perfect plan in my head. No April Fool’s here (it’s an evil holiday for the mean spirited)…just happy, pretty, wintery loveliness. Happy Friday!
Here’s me taking full advantage of the snow! This was tougher than it looks. The rings kept sinking into the snow and I continually freaked out about losing them in there.

I wanted to steal the adorable furry one. Such a cutie.
Bridesmaid assembly line happened all on it’s own!
Everyone got ready in Julie and Brett’s house…which may have been the cleanest house I have ever seen and kind of made me feel bad about myself.
I love the way Julie’s dress moves. You can almost hear a “swish” when you look at this photo.
Gorgeous!
I’m choosing nice here…there is another one where these two are both making freaked out faces at the candles which is my REAL favorite. ;)
Shooting a few quick portraits under a berry covered tree outside of the church. Things that make me happy: the sun reflecting off of the berries creating little balls of light and these two all snuggled together for warmth.
Loved this random find! Apple orchards are pretty in the winter too!
Seriously – everyone really had to trek through the snow to get to this spot and there were ZERO complaints about it. You guys rock!
Gorgeous floral work from an Affair to Remember. Love the dahlias.
And off to the historic campus of Lewis and Clark Community College! So pretty.
When the boys are willing to skip to entertain the girls…you let them.
One of my favorite trolleys from St. Louis Carriage Company…meet Dolly the Trolley! We had Molly on our wedding day. ;)
Love the sunset light pouring through the windows. Why can’t all photos happen at sunset?!
Mer got this fun ring of fire effect through her lens…love it!
Off to the reception at The Commons!
It was DEFINITELY a party with tunes from Griffin and the Gargoyles!
So thrilled to have been part of your day! With love, Liz
