OMG…so much loveliness here! These two each have such unique and wonderful personalities. I met Kathleen multiple times before spending any time with Connor. I would describe Kathleen as witty with a hilariously dry and sarcastic sense of humor. Very quick to make crazy faces and not as quick to smile, but you feel pretty special when you get one. Connor on the other hand is energetic and chatty and wears his heart on his sleeve. Big smiles, upbeat conversations and a few tears were all part of my first five minutes with Connor. And oh how he loves him some Kathleen! Take these two, add in a beautiful design by Kristen Ashley Events and WA LA! Amazing wedding day. The rain had nothing on this duo. We didn’t miss a beat!
How about these rose gold foil invites from M Haley Design?!
Kathleen did you wear these all day? Damn I wish my feet could handle these beauties!
Sisters :)
It seems as if Kathleen’s expressive face is inherited. (Sorry I had to do it!)
Gorgeous!
This makes me want to go hug my dad.
And now over to Connor and the guys with Mer!
First look…
I love this approach Kathleen. I’ve never had anyone go all the way in for a kiss before letting him see you!
Waterworks. ;)
They read each other private vows…so sweet.
After the first look we headed back in for the Ketubah signing. Kathleen’s family is Jewish and Connor’s is Catholic, so they found ways to incorporate both pieces of each that were important to them. Truly two families coming together!
Off to the gorgeous St. Francis Xavier SLU College Church for the first ceremony!
Love how my prism caught extra sparkly lights!
Married!
I don’t go dark on my edits very often. I like bright and happy rather than moody, but these images just called for it.
And as the rain began…
The rain held at a light drizzle, members of the wedding party held umbrellas over these two until the last second and then I would shoot a few quick frames. It worked perfectly!
I mean, I love this so much.
And then just a few more in Forest Park with everyone.
And off to the MAC for ceremony number two! Pink suede kippahs and cotton candy champagne? Yes please!
Proud parents.
The intricate architecture at the Missouri Athletic Club downtown is tough to rival. Loving the mix of square and round tables.
Candles everywhere.
Fun video of photos put together by the FOB.
Hora time!
These two were celebrating their 65th anniversary! So much love. I may have shed a tear or two. during this dance.
And I wasn’t the only one.
Loving the dance moves!
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better…a cigar roller showed up!
AND they opened up a donut wall.
Congratulations to you both! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us share in your amazing day! With love, Liz + Meredith
