I literally caught myself smiling back at my screen while I was scrolling through this final selection of blog images. I always do that before I start typing (not the smile but the scroll). I need to make sure I chose images that truly tell the story of the day just the way I remember it. And in this case…success! Because I remember smiling through most of this day. And I remember Katie and Bob smiling through most of this day. I’m laughing now as I remember our intern specifically stating that “they both have great teeth”, which we saw a lot because they were smiling all day lol! Photos should capture essence…that essence is what adds context and meaning to the “things” in the image. Katie and Bob, you two wear happy well. We are thrilled for you both!
Setting the stage with fresh sage and lavender I cut from from Katie’s mom’s garden and check out the heels on Katie’s fun shoes!
The talented Savannah Summer and team did an amazing job, but honestly I think that Katie has perfect skin. #jealous
Ralph! Cutest pup ever. Love those ears.
ALL smiles. Even wedding planner extraordinaire Kimmy K from Kate & Co is down there mastering the button loops and can’t stop smiling.
Puppy kisses are the best. Sorry Bob. ;)
Seriously with the perfect skin. Gorgeous Katie!
Well this had us all in tears…
Let’s go get this girl married shall we?!
Oh yeah, can’t forget about Bob and the guys across town with Meredith. THESE SOCKS WITH RALPH’S FACE! I know what my husband is getting for Christmas. Need these now. Not with Ralph’s face of course. That would be creepy, weird and stalker-ish
Oooo…Bob are you sharing?!
Ok NOW let’s get these two married!
This is kind of a random shot to include at this point but I just loved it. So it’s in!
Just a few quick shots showcasing this gorgeous bouquet from Always in Bloom and Katie’s Essence of Australia gown from the Ultimate Bride. Perfection!
I love that matron of honor Chrissy’s dress is a little different but blends perfectly with the other bridesmaids and the florals.
It was such a gorgeous day. Not too hot, great light, beautiful sweet people, all of it.
A few laughs…
And more Ralph!
Off to Sunset Country Club to celebrate!
We don’t always get to take advantage of sunset, but when we do, it’s lovely.
First time I’ve seen the Electric Slide as a family tradition. Burnin’ up the dance floor Filla’s!
You guys nailed this whole wedding thing. Congratulations! May you smile this much for years to come! With love, Liz + Mer
