So excited to blog what I consider to be one of the most underutilized event venues in St. Louis…The Old Post Office! The architecture is beautiful, and it has so much character with old post boxes, historic tile, sculptures, etc. Katie and Kevin picked an architectural gem for the ceremony as well! I don’t think any one would argue that St. Francis Xavier isn’t one of the most beautiful churches in the area. With a cloudy day and an early sunset we ended up taking their downtown portraits with available city light rather than dramatic flash work which I think gives them this authentic vibe. Loving this day! And this CUTE clutch.
Monochromatic bouquets make my color-snobby heart sing.
Dress time!
Katie this gown was flawless on you. It’s not easy to pull of this smooth of a silhouette!
I, for one, like that sass you’re giving the camera.
Sweet parent moments. Katie’s mom was a little teary and kept trying to hide from me, but I got a few. I will not be stopped lol!
Meanwhile, Kevin and the guys wrapped up some finishing touches.
Boys are silly. I like silly.
First look on the 360 Rooftop!
Off to church…
Now that’s a great first kiss! Congrats!
City lights.
Time to party!
She got him GOOD right after this…
Cheers! Let’s dance!
Such a lovely day! Thank you so much for having me! With love, Liz
