Well today is Easter Sunday…so I wanted to share this beautiful session with all the flowers as we’re enjoying spring from home, but more importantly I want to highlight all my 2020 seniors, as this past week we got the official word they wouldn’t be heading back to school this year. This pandemic has certainly thrown us all for a loop and taught us to readjust our expectations, but for them especially as I don’t think anyone could have guessed this is how the year would end. My heart is just broken for them, as they don’t get to finish out the year and have all the formal celebrations to mark the end of their high school careers. I am certainly holding them all close in my thoughts and hoping when we are allowed to have gatherings of some sort again that we’ll be able to celebrate for real! For now I’ll just say to all my seniors, be proud of what you’ve accomplished this year and all through high school – we see you and you won’t be forgotten!
Ok just a few more words about this specific session and I’ll get to the photos! I’ve known Keridan for quite a number of years now through dance, and was lucky enough to photograph her older sister as well back in my class of 2016 group (who is a college senior now and also missing out on graduation. Ah! Ok trying to focus on the happy thoughts). We spent her session on the most perfect sunny day out at Queeny Park. I love her casual and easy going style, which matches her personality perfectly :) I’m so glad we got to shoot together Keridan, and to have known you all these years – you have become such a smart and beautiful young woman (not getting teary-eyed at all here) with just the right amount of sass and sarcasm ;). Definitely going to miss you next year! Alright here come the photos:
The smile after I ask for a serious pose is always the best!
