I have been looking forward to editing this wedding for months now! It is so rare that everything comes together like this. Beautiful fall foliage on a bright sunny day at sunset in historic Hermann, Missouri with the most loving, fun, full of life couple a photographer could ask for. I’m a lucky girl. ;) This was my first time shooting a wedding in Hermann and it was such a lovely town to work in! Honestly, when I am in Hermann I generally have a glass (or bottle) of wine in hand. This is the case once a year, every year for over a decade now. It was an absolute delight to look at Hermann from a photographers perspective! Kristin and Jared were so laid back and fun on the engagement session that I knew we were going to have a blast on their wedding day. Enjoy!
A big thank you is in order to video master Judd with Millennium Productions for braving the poison ivy to hang Kristin’s gown from the perfect tree branch I selected. And thank you Kristin for letting us do so!
Gifts!
Gown time…wowza. Looking good Kristin! Sexy momma!
The perfect cufflinks for any true St. Louisan.
Jared and the boys…
These ties were awesome. They pulled everything together.
Kristin and Jared did a first look about 10 minutes before the ceremony to have a moment to themselves and get some jitters out of their system without everyone watching. It was lovely.
Here comes the bride!
Ok, so that first look might not have taken care of ALL of the jitters. ;)
Can you find me?!
When in Hermann…drink!
Congratulations! A toast to to the happy couple!
This light combined with those smiles almost makes me drool on my keyboard.
I think this almost has a fairy wonderland feel.
My second big thanks goes out to the amazing trolley driver, who was willing to put the trolly into what we will call an “interesting situation” to get me to my MUST HAVE photo spot I found while wondering the outskirts of town. Thank you!!!
Love.
The pretty little succulents in Kristin’s bouquet make me happy!
Next thanks goes to Topiary’s for allowing us to highjack their beautiful storefront for a few romantic cafe shots.
And back to Hermann Hill for the party!
Cute popcorn favor display.
Toasts are always one of my favorite times of the day. I get to be 100% photojournalistic, but I cam almost be assured smiles and/or tears. I love hearing the stories and getting a little personal glimpse into the lives of so many amazing people. Sometimes I get caught up in laughing (or crying) myself and forget to shoot for a minute! But not often. ;)
Oh this looks dangerous.
Smiles and more smiles all day long.
Congratulations you two! Everything was literally picture perfect. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it. With love, Liz
