We have been a little bit (aka VERY) crazy over here for the last few weeks trying to squeeze in as much as possible before the end of the year! I have to run out to finish my holiday shopping today (yes I’m THAT person) and Kate is sitting here with her fingers crossed that her last minute Amazon shopping arrives in time to make it under a tree. Thank you to all of you for your patience with us as we try to make as many people happy as possible! We appreciate all of you so much. It has been a wonderful year. I am sad that I won’t have an excuse to see many of you again for awhile…until you come in to see Kristie for baby photos perhaps?! Or feel free to reach out if you’re having a happy hour in the CWE neighborhood and we’ll rush out to join! The end of the year makes me all nostalgic thinking through all the the laughs, tears, small panic attacks and lots of smiles we’ve been a part of this year. Sigh…thank you. Thank you so very much.
Now, one more wedding before Christmas! Laura and Jim were married on a BEAUTIFUL day in October. So many things about this wedding make me smile. One of which is the memory of Jim hugging everyone at the reception. Even us. Apparently he gets extra lovey after a couple of cocktails. :) Meredith and I had a tough time narrowing down this blog post so settle in!
Tiffany blue shiny things. Is there anything better?!
Cute little ring nests.
Lovely bouquet with broaches throughout.
Watch out Laura! I may sneak into your room and steal this necklace. :)
Jim and the guys getting all snazzy.
Special mother daughter moment.
Pretty rosette covered gown!
Absolute perfection Laura.
Ceremony time!
They did this really neat thing I had never seen before. Each set of parents wrote letters to them that were read out loud during the ceremony. They were filled with touching moments and funny stories. New favorite wedding idea!
Married!
Off to take pretty photos…easy with these two.
Seriously gorgeous day…sunny, light breeze…
It was playoff time, and I thought Jim was crazy for taking us down to the stadium, but mid game we were able to get some shots AND avoid crazy traffic!
Sunset at the Visitors Center in Forest Park.
Custom cigars – so fun!
Mmmm…cupcake tower from The Cup. I skipped lunch. Would totally devour one of these suckers right about now. Or anytime really. ;)
Let’s celebrate!
Congratulations you two! Your wedding day was lovely and we were so happy to be a part of it! May you keep smiling this much for years to come. With love, Liz + Meredith
PS – Jim, let me know if you want to borrow my gold pants. I know you want a pair of your own. :)
