So excited to have this awesomely fun wedding day up before going into the weekend! That said, I have to run out the door here in a sec for an engagement session, so for once I’m going to keep this short. I remember the general gist of Lauren’s maid of honor’s toast and I kinda loved it. Matt apparently wasn’t generally Lauren’s “type” before he became the love of her life. You can’t put love into little check boxes dammit! These two…so good together. They are always smiling, joking and enjoying each other and life every time I see them interact. They have the kind of love that makes a lot of people jealous, which in turn gives us all something to strive for in our own lives. Thanks for setting the bar high! When it comes to love, it should be up there, but still within reach. And now…photos. ;)
Ha! Love this. Perfection Lauren.
Cute moment with mini me…
The guys were a hoot! Fave moment: the man bun twins helping each other with their bobby pins.
Groomsmen gifts – awesome watches!
Pretty ceremony at Lumen and lovely bouquet from Festive Couture Floral!
When you can’t have your furry family members at your wedding, make stand up life size cutouts!
Happy tears.
Woo hoo!
I love the stone work at Central Library downtown. So perfect for wedding party photos.
New angle for me. Fun!
I think this was my first time at my favorite wall this year. Predictably pretty!
Off to Neo on Locust for the party!
Matt is not only a tattoo artist (and insanely talented I may add!), but a collage artist! We made these pieces using a couple of the photos from their engagement session.
And for the photo booth…hee!
The view of the city from Neo on Locust.
Quick little trip to the rooftop to catch the tail end of this beautiful pink sunset.
Nice photobomb Kristin Weis (planner extraordinaire!)
And then we hurried back into the party and jammed with DJ Aflex.
Lauren and Matt agreed to let me use them for a little steel wool photo experiment and I promised to try not to catch them on fire. Seemed like a good trade. ;)
Congratulations to you both! So honored to be a part of your day. You rock! With love, Liz
