Libby and Glenn got married on a gorgeous early Spring day and I was there.  I photographed it… how cool is that?!  I am continually humbled and grateful that people choose us to capture such a monumental occasion in their lives.  Sorry, I’m having a rare sappy moment…stick with me here, I promise it will pass.  Something shiny!

so, this is an amazing dress… I have never seen anything like it.  It is one of those gowns that really comes to life on a person…you’ll see.

and now to the immaculate Glenn.  When I arrived he was shining his buttons and lint rolling… well, pretty much everything in sight!  I also find it cute that his initials are also shorthand for groom.  :)

and we’re off… to St. Francis Xavier, the College Church

one of StL’s most stunning churches, for certain.

So early in the spring when the leaves are still gone, sometimes you can catch this very odd but beautiful vine pattern… so cool!  It did, however, earn me the nickname ‘true detective’ for the rest of the day from the groomsmen who, for those of you who watch True Detective, thought it looked like Carcosa.  Too funny.

and a softer setting…. it took some sweet talking to get Glenn into these weeds.  He’s “indoorsy” as he puts it.  He told me if he was a dog, he’d be a shih tzu.  It was lovely light though… totally worth it!

so sometimes a bird takes off out of the brush during your photos… anything can happen.

back to the comfort of the city!  I love these reflections!
