Let the fall flashbacks continue! Another gorgeous one here… Liz and Luis got married at the tail end of October on a crisp, autumn afternoon. Liz is one of those people that smiles and laughs in such a way that you can’t help smiling yourself…. so I am going to start this blog out with a photo of Liz laughing, because that is the way the day truly began! (don’t worry, there are plenty of shiny, pretty things to come!)
smart brides have TWO pairs of shoes (Liz is a teacher, after all!)
awesome and fun invites by Two Blue Doors
I love non-traditional wedding rings … so fun that the rings match the wedding colors!
Lace is always classic and beautiful
the stunning Liz getting the finishing touches on
…because she’s about to see this guy!
Liz and Luis were so happy to see each other it was really quite cute
Liz, you look SO pretty in this photo. that is all.
a little fun in Soulard before the ceremony

a quick stop at the market
It bodes well for the marriage when the only time I see the groom light up and see his full smile like this is when he is goofing off with Liz. (Luis you have such a dyn-o-mite smile, you should break it out more!)
…and then it dissolved into lots of laughter and pumpkin heads.
There is no better way to travel to your ceremony than in a classic car!
St. Cecilias Church in St. Louis city proper
married!! (and one of the rare moments when a guest’s camera works to my benefit–how cool is that flash?!)
Now off to the 9th Street Abbey!
very sweet little chalkboard table numbers
lots of fun little personal details
I gotta give it up for Accolade (the band) — they learned “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and NAILED IT! Not a traditional wedding song, but they learned it and it was really cool to hear their version of it! I love that band anyway– the lead singer’s MJ is spot on, but this was a little extra special.
Full service wedding planning by Kristin Weis of Kristin Ashley Events also involves some of her sweet dance moves. (love you K Dub)
Thanks for letting me capture your fun, silly, beautiful, unique day. with love, kate
