Maggie and Mike…could you two be more laid back and fun? Seriously?! All smiles, completely relaxed, stress free wedding day here folks! I think the cake could have had a giant gaping hole in it and one of the bridesmaid dresses could have arrived in lime green and Maggie wouldn’t have cared a bit. It’s pretty clear to me that they both get their demeanors from their families. All lovely people enjoying the wedding day of these two lovebirds. And a gorgeous day it was! The 70 degrees, flowers blooming and birds chirping kind of perfect actually. Maggie and the girls got ready at the Missouri Athletic Club downtown, followed by photos in the park, a ceremony at the beautiful Shrine of St. Joseph and back to the MAC eat, drink, celebrate and dance the night away. Here we go!
All about comfort (and a little glitter!) for miss Maggie.
Can you guess what would cause all of these girls to smile and snap lots of pics?!
Yeah, you guessed it. :)
Meet Mike!
Hi Mike!
A little snuggle and we’re off to the park.
That is one good sized wedding party!
A little romance amongst a sea of cotton balls.
Maggie’s pretty pink and coral bouquet by Stems Florist.
The Shrine of St. Joseph…this church reminds me the most of the church’s Steve and I saw on our honeymoon in Italy. Makes me a little nostalgic every time.
How about these adorable kiddos?!
Here comes the bride!
Yay married!
This next photo is a perfect example of what I mean by “laid back.” A friend made this cake topper for a bridal shower and they just thought “Hey why not throw it on top of the wedding cake!?” I think you will agree it’s seen better days…and upon closer inspection you may notice that mini cake topper Mike is missing a foot. Wait, is that where the ball and chain was attached?! Hee – hee…
I swear Mike looks like he’s up to something in this photo. Like he’s getting permission to do something he might regret from someone over there on the left…
Yep! Called it!
First dance in the beautiful historic ballroom at the Missouri Athletic Club downtown.
This was one of the best toasts I have ever heard. And it was all about deodorant. No seriously, her sister should be a stand up comedian!
Big thanks to you both for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day! I had a great time and I hope the photos can bring back the happy memories for years to come! With love, Liz
