I love finding colorful walls to shoot with my seniors…purple is kind of a tricky one though! A lot of reds and oranges, and blues and greens are pretty easy to find too. But pink and purple are the unicorns if you will ;) This lovely shade is right down the street from the studio though, and I actually found a new pink wall recently that I just used for a session yesterday, so you’ll see that coming up soon too. I like the pop of Maia’s bright shoes on the purple. These girls bring the best shoes!

Such a cute dress for this first look – I love the mesh sleeves and it fit so well. I think people underrate how much the fit of clothes makes a difference, especially in photos….pick clothes that fit you well! You’ll be happy later on :)

Quick snap in the pointe shoes. Maia had to have major surgery last year on her spine (!) so she’s just getting back into dance. Hope it continues to go well!
