This was a really fun one for me to re-live! These two make me smile. They are just so darn NICE, have kind and close-knit families and lots of fun friends. All of which means that this day was filled with a multitude of sweet emotions and zero wedding day drama. Sometimes when I am shooting a wedding by myself I feel a little frazzled running here and there and everywhere in a little Tasmanian devil whirlwind sort of thing. But I never felt this way on Maribeth and Todd’s wedding day. Not once. And I feel like I still captured all of the good stuff! Of course having a planner always helps – big thanks to the amazing Katie Saeger for keeping the ship on course. For a split second I remember wishing that all of my weddings were like this, and then I immediately thought nah, that would get boring. I like to keep life interesting! That is not an invitation for the universe to throw me any additional drama. I totally have enough right now. ;) Enjoy the photos!
Pretty gown through bubbles of light.
I see a pretty decent number of cute personalized hangers, but the little tag on on this one was an extra cute touch!
And can I just say how much I LOVE these rings?! Emerald cuts are one of my favorites! Very underutilized in my opinion.
Meet Maribeth! She is being styled by the ever fabulous Danielle Erb of Danielle Style.
The gorgeous bride! Check out those cute proud parents in the background.
The “I’m trying not to cry” wave.
Gorgeous.
Meet Todd! I had to stand on a chair. He’s one tall dude.
Off to the church! Love these doors at Lourdes.
Here she comes…
It’s official!
Fun with limo reflections.
Just a bunch of handsome men hanging out in the park on a beautiful afternoon.
Pretty ladies! Always love the floral work from Barb at Bloomin’ Buckets. She never disappoints!
Fun with low hanging ginko tree branches. One of my favorite new finds this year. It’s the little things!
And back to the Ritz Carlton to relax for a few and get ready to party!
Pretty classic, neutral color pallet. Lovely.
I posted this on our facebook page. This little guy was entranced by Griffin and the Gargoyles keytar player. It was awesome. I was cracking up behind the camera.
Random comment here: I LOVE working with Amy and Matt at Sweet Tea Media. Have you seen videographers in any of the photos above? NO! Because they are awesome, journalistic and we work together to make sure we all get what we need and mostly stay out of each others shots. It is the perfect working relationship! That’s Matt on the left over there…once dance party starts we just go with it! I mean, Maribeth is in the middle of the dance circle. It’s must get. ;)
I KNOW this is a college thing, but which one? I need to know. Someone help a girl out!
Congratulations you two! It was such a lovely day. Stay safe in that garage storm cellar in Oklahoma ok?! With love, Liz
