This is a fun and happy way to wrap up the week! Mary and Kalyan literally light up around each other. When you see Kalyan you will just want to hug him. Meredith was helping me choose blog photos and actually said “This may be your happiest groom ever!” Totally spot on Mer! And Mary is just the sweetest thing and comes from such a fun loving family. These two together…sigh. I’m actually sitting here with a smile on my face thinking about their wedding day. It was a busy one and we fit plenty of stuff into a short period of time, but it was all worth it. Special thanks to my good friend and amazing planner Simcha from Simcha’s Events for keeping us on schedule and giving me such amazing things and people to photograph. But let’s let the photos speak for themselves!
First stop, M Haley Design on these letter pressed and gold foiled beauties.
You can already tell from this photo it’s going to be a fun group.
Mary…that bone structure! Hair and makeup by my beautiful and talented friend Emily Miller.
Ok MOH, my apologies, but when you make a face this funny I have no choice but to include it. ;)
May I present the sisters of the bride… ;)
LOVE.
Seriously Mary, so beautiful!
Awww…
And now over to a smiley Kalyan and the guys! Seriously he could not wipe that thing off of his face all day long. It was awesome.
Even though they were having a Catholic ceremony early in the day, Mary and Kalyan still wanted a special first look moment.
Off to get married!
St. Francis Xavier, also known as the SLU College Church.
Taking advantage of the gorgeous architecture of this structure.
And off to the park and my favorite little grove of magnolia trees.
This was a must stop for these two. Apparently they always make out in the elevator of their apartment building in the CWE. I think that is a pretty good tradition and decent marriage advice actually. :)
Next stop: Their favorite restaurant Taste for a quick sip of champagne!
And our final destination, the gorgeous Four Seasons St. Louis.
With amazing floral design by Lisa at Belli Fiori. Love the pinks and corals!
Pretty cake with delicate layers topped with smiley elephants. Pat at Sugaree Baking is a true artist!
Special little champagne for two.
As the last little bit of light leaves the sky…
A little Indian music packed the dance floor immediately!
We should have a caption contest for this one…we’ve all been there with our significant others right ladies?!
I really feel like I might go back and count the smiles in this blog post. If you’re not smiling by now you might be an alien. Or a robot.
Congratulations you guys! Such a happy day! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of it! With love, Liz
