I am having a tough time cutting down my blog photos lately! And also feeling like making more individual commentary per photo rather than a big long rambling intro. I think I’m just giddy that tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I get to eat and drink to my heart’s desire…guilt free. That guilt free part is liberating! Maura and Travis had a beautiful day for a wedding! We started off getting ready and seeing each other for the first time at the Hyatt downtown (my first time shooting there – very cool venue by the way). Then meandered over to Forest Park for some fall foliage followed by a beautiful evening ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica. And then dancing under the stars at the rooftop of the Hyatt with a beautiful view of the arch! Take a look…

Hiya Travis! This was just before they saw each other for the first time. Travis is Maura's handsome pilot.
I'm excited about my new wall (with fabulous foreground subjects may I add). So excited that you get to see two.
The lovely ladies! I am a total idiot. We did one with the little flower girls in it too first and then I said "Ok, now just the bigger ladies." I mean really Liz?! Insert foot in mouth and repeat. Lordy!
Maura and her dad about to head down the aisle. Thanks to Kate we get to see this moment! I'm in the aisle. Can't be two places at once. It's something I'm working on. :)
Every time I am in this church I am in awe at how amazing it is. My husband and I went to Italy for our honeymoon and this honestly rivals many of the historic churches we visited there.
Just when we thought we'd seen everything. A first for both Kate and myself: best man toasting with a piece of meat. Or anyone toasting with a piece of meat for that matter. This is my shot.
Kate's shot: not only is it customary to take a sip of your champagne after your toast, but it is apparently also polite to take a nibble of your meat when doing a meat toast.
