I am so behind on blogging it is bordering on hilarious… so flash back to December with me to the wedding of Meredith and John. Its winter. The air is crisp and it is totally appropriate to wear a fur coat… because it’s cold. And there are Christmas decorations about… because it’s Christmastime. Okay– now that we are all on the same page, off we go! (ps — one more winter wedding after this and then it’s “spring forward”… promise!)
I LOVE this ring that I think is “something borrowed”. gorgeous.
Dad ran into us in the Chase Park Plaza and I think he is speechless.
meanwhile John is getting spiffed up too.
and also meanwhile… dozens of children are storming through the Chase on their way to perform a Katy Perry dance routine. Worlds are colliding!
first look, and then out into the brisk December air
Low winter sun makes this part of the park look like a woodland fairy forest
and a short walk later we are here:
and then back into the forest for some fun with a fallen tree
one of my favorites of the day
just goofing around and having fun… as it should be.
love love love suits for weddings.
I love this one too. the way she is looking at him…. swoon.
and a little grove of pines to add some green into the mix!
then off to the Jewel Box in Forest Park for the ceremony!
Dad, you’re killing me. Just saying’… I have a hard enough time keeping a dry eye as is here…
The Palladium decked out in red
yum!
see?!? Christmas.
complete with a shimmery wintery snowflake cake
yum (again!)
okay, so this is my “made me laugh out loud” selection for today… sing it sister!!
Thanks for braving the chill with me and letting me capture your day!
