It’s not very often I get the opportunity to shoot outside of the city. But when I do it’s always a new adventure! Morgan and Tyler are from Red Bud, Illinois which is where most of the festivities took place. Life slows down a little out there and the big, sweeping fields of the midwest bring a kind of peaceful calm. Even on a wedding day! It’s pretty cool actually how a short drive will take you from full on bustling city to fields of corn. I think I’m going to make a point of heading out a little more often. I loved Morgan’s Jim Helm wedding gown! It was a unique, antique shade of white, but not yellowy which was perfect on her skin tone. And we had some fun winds to blow her veil around in the air. Well, the winds were fun until a tornado came through later – at least it missed us! On the topic of weather, Morgan threw a rosary in a tree and I think that is the first superstitious thing I have ever seen work. It rained for most all of the ceremony, but once we left to take photos the sun was big and bright in the sky! Time to dig into some pretty little things here…
Check out this little cutie-pie getting the celebrity treatment.
The girls were all pretty in pink.
Well, except for the bride. ;)
Love this little moment.
One of my absolute favorites of the day. Gorgeous ladies!
Pretty Morgan.
A quick toast and then off to go throw that rosary to ward off the crazy incoming storm!
Hiya handsome! I was confused when Tyler told me he was not cool with where I was posting photos of their engagement session. Apparently if you google “old Red Bud” you will get to see some of their engagement photos. Oh google, I will never quite understand the inner-workings of all of your little search bots. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!
Pretty little rose petal M before it gets mutilated by high heels and flowing gowns. RIP little M. ;)
If you ever wonder what the guys are doing 10 minutes or so before their buddy gets married, the answer is: watching inappropriate videos on their iphones. :)
Earmuffs.
Well hi there little one! Think Morgan is ready to get married? Let’s get this show on the road!
The new Mr. and Mrs. Mueth!
I’m not kidding – it rained the entire ceremony. Guests came in under umbrellas and left with sunglasses on! We took full advantage and headed out to Red Bud Winery for a few fun shots with the wedding party.
Another one of my favorites of the day. It’s just so genuine. I haven’t had them “do” anything yet.
Morgan’s dress was fun and fluffy for this windy day. Looks like they could float away! Oops that rhymed. It just happened.
Those pretty little juniper berries are no match for these smiles.
Morgan’s dad is the mayor of Red Bud so of course we needed a few shots in front of City Hall.
And off to the party!
A little welcome…
…brings a few tears…
…and a few laughs when Dale Earnhardt Jr. made a surprise appearance.
Let’s boogie!
Congratulations to you both! Thank you so much for inviting me over the river for your beautiful day! With love, liz
